Main Character: Emma.

Name:                      Emma Laurie Smith    Biological Age:        18 - 19.  Real Age:                 Unknown - Existed outside the flow of normal time on many occasions.  Hair Colour:             Brown with a tinge of red.  Eye Colour:              Blue.  Information / Background:   Emma is the last in a long line of what she believes to be witches, she like her mother and all the women who came before her are self-styled protector’s of the human race as well as the planet Earth. Emma’s abilities give her the power to focus and control exotic matter as well as normal matter / energy. The limit to Emma’s ability is unknown but it is known she can tamper reality itself to a limited extent. Family, Emma has no family to speak of as she had been fairly much alone since her parents died in a mysterious car crash on a straight stretch of road. Due to the sad and untimely death of Emma’s parents Emma’s own training in how her abilities work is unfinished and on a more personal note Emma is scared by being left alone. Sexuality, Emma is a lesbian, however it should be noted that she does feel the pressure that is still being put on her and others like her in this age to fit what a society with a still slightly backwards view of things, says she should be.

Main Character: Rose    Ebony

Name:                    Ebony Mackenzie.   (Birth Name: Daniel Mackenzie.)  Biological Age:      18 - 19  Real Age:               Unknown - Existed outside the flow of normal time on many occasions.  Hair Colour:           Redish Pink / Blonde  Eye Colour:            Blue.  Information / Background:   Ebony was born Daniel, just a normal human with no special traits, that was until he fell in love with Emma and due an accident became female. It seems that as Daniel’s DNA converted and his chromosomes swapped from an XY to an XX configuration something was unlocked giving him or more her abilities like Emma but different. Ebony also knows things that she really shouldn’t be able to know but due to the fact there are gaps in her memory centred around the time about a year before she met Emma, she can’t be sure of what she knows. Family, Ebony’s family is a little odd but her parents are a drunken uncaring father and a mother who dropped everything to go find her husband in spite of the fact she had duty to care for her offspring. Sexuality, Ebony is a lesbian, she liked girls as a guy and still likes girls, for her, gender and sexuality are not linked and as for society, she doesn’t give a damn what it thinks.

Main Character: April

Name:                   April Mackenzie.  Biological Age:     22.  Real Age:              22.  Hair Colour:        Normally Dark brown or black.  Eye Colour:         Blue  Information / Background:   April is the confusing part of Ebony’s family, April is or was the older brother of Ebony (Daniel) in spite of the fact everyone thinks that Ebony is an only child. This came about because April, who was male at the time discovered a secret that caused an group of people to send their weapon (the monoctonite) to destroy him. Fearing for the safety of his family the male who would one day become April convinced Emma to erase all trace of him from the universe, a young Emma did as she was asked but not before the monoctonite had cast the person who would one day be April's arm into another dimension. Emma’s spell however was a little too effective and the male who would one day become April became a living ghost with nobody but Emma ever remembering his existence. Later on he would use living ghost state to befriend Daniel so he could watch over him, notably a side effect of what Emma had done meant he was unaffected by Daniel’s change into Ebony and was there for confused by it. Later on after the same spell that changed Daniel into Ebony was used on him, he took the name April and confessed the truth to Ebony, where they now live as sisters.

Name:                        Unknown  Biological Age:          Unknown  Real Age:                  Unknown  Hair Colour:              Unknown  Eye Colour:               Unknown  Information / Background:  Nothing much can be said about the painting on the wall, except for the fact it talks and provides useful information. That and the fact it seems to be a giant set of lips. Where the painting on the wall came from or what is really is remains unknown.

Supporting Cast: Bug

Name:                     Brandon Ulysses Goldsmith  Biological Age:      18 - 19  Real Age:               18 - 19  Hair Colour:          Light Brown  Eye Colour:           Brown  Information / Background:   Unlike the popular belief that Brandon got his nickname Bug from the fact he is spindly or an annoying nuisance, his nick-name comes from the first letter of each name in his name, Brandon Ulysses Goldsmith. Brandon believes he has no real skills that set him apart from other people, however he does have a sense of right from wrong, which led him in a warped and twisted future to become a law enforcement officer. On a personal note due to the closeness of the friendship between Brandon and Daniel, which is as old as their friendship with Smasher, Daniel’s transformation into Ebony has caused some confusion. While Brandon doesn’t remember Ebony as being anyone but Ebony, at some level he is aware that something isn’t right and it often manifests with questions such how did he become friends with her because in his mind it’s odd for a girl to hang with guys as one of the guys and, with all the time they had spent together how could he have not noticed Ebony was a beautiful young woman until she was with Emma.

Supporting Cast: Smasher

Name:                   Chris Seabrooke-Smith  Biological Age:     18-19  Real Age:              18-19  Hair Colour:          Black  Eye Colour:           Blue  Information / Background:   Chris Seabrooke-Smith or Smasher as Bug dubbed him is a rather odd young man, when he is around people he speaks about himself in the third person, referring to himself as Smasher but he can often be seen slipping up and speaking like normal people. Chris got dubbed Smasher during a primary school game of cricket when he hit the ball for a six but ended up hitting it so hard that it smashed into a car damaging it badly. After that day Chris decided he would never play sports again and adopted the name Smasher because everyone thought he was a big dumb idiot who was just strong. An flaw in the concept that Smasher is an idiot is the fact that he has never once failed an exam or test and in fact comes in at the top of all his classes. The odd thing is while Smasher passes all his classes nobody ever seems to notice. Smasher’s reaction to Daniel becoming Ebony was slightly more obvious then Bug’s, for Smasher, Ebony was an unknown almost like he knew who she was but also knew who she should have been, which led to some really odd issues between them.

Name:                     Matt  Wattle  Biological Age:      18-19  Real Age:               18-19  Hair Colour:           Black  Eye Colour:            Brown  Information / Background:   Matt was a rather more recent addition to the group of friends that consisted of Daniel, Bug, Smasher and himself. Matt first met the group when they were at a sci-fi movie and became a member of the group when they found that he had many of the same tastes as the rest of the group. Matt hasn’t mentioned much about his past to the other members of the group so in truth they know very little about him, but then again they don’t really care. Daniel and Emma, Matt’s reaction to the relationship that grew between Daniel and Emma was rather different from that of Bug and Smasher who were somewhat pleased by fact that Daniel had a interest in Emma. No Matt’s reaction to it was one of badly concealed anger, which Daniel assumed was caused by the fact Matt was interested in Emma. Ebony, Matt’s response to Daniel becoming Ebony was downright hostile, he doesn’t like Ebony and doesn’t see why a chick as he worded it should be a member of the group. This hostility had led Ebony who felt bad enough due to the change to stay away from the group.

Supporting Cast: Destiny

Name:                   Destiny Carter  Biological Age:     19-20  Real Age:              19-20  Hair Colour:          Black  Eye Colour:           Green  Information / Background:   In spite of the fact Destiny is slightly older she was the first girl that Emma ever had a crush on, before Emma’s parents accident Destiny and Emma were best friends. However around the time Emma’s parents died, Emma realized that Destiny didn’t feel the way about her that she felt about her so she broke of contact with her to save them both a lot of problems. Asides from her job at a local jewellery store Destiny considers herself a seeker of the truth and in that respect she is trying to work out why Emma is trying to avoid her. Notable while Destiny considers herself as a seeker of truth she is blissfully unaware of the truth about the world around her and the dangers of it. Ebony and Destiny, while the two have only met once Ebony quickly realized that there were disturbing similarities between her body and Destiny’s, such as the fact they both have larger breasts and both seem to wear the same jewellery.

Supporting Cast: Jessica

Name:                   Jessica (No surname known.)  Biological Age:    18-19  Real Age:             18-19  Hair Colour:         Black ???  Eye Colour:          Blue  Information / Background:   While Jessica is an old friend of Daniel she is something of a total mystery, she has no second name, and nothing to prove she even exists. Emma was so paranoid about Jessica when they first met that she even tried to use her abilities to work out who or what Jessica was but not even that worked. Adding to the mystery of Jessica is the fact that neither Ebony nor she can ever recall the first time they met or for that matter anything about their friendship, yet both a steadfast that they are friends. On top of all the weirdness Jessica only knows Daniel as a girl and yet she was shocked when she first met Ebony because Ebony didn’t seem right. After their first meeting Emma pressed Ebony for more information about Jessica but all Ebony could speculate on was the fact that Jessica may not have been native to this universe.

Also both Miss Shoemaker and Miss Lopez have and keep some secrets of their own.

Villain: The Spider Magnate

Name:                    The Spider Magnate   (Real name unknown.)  Biological Age:      Older then 40,000 years.  Real Age:               Older then 40,000 years.  Hair Colour:           Black  Eye Colour:            Black  Information / Background:   The Spider Magnate, which is all he is known as is a creature of immense power, he well over 40,000 years old and originates from the island city of Ag-lan'tuss, which was once part of the earth. The Spider Magnate is the only male or semi male being known to use what is known as magic on this earth. The spider magnate rose to power after killing his own parents and besting his sister in a battle that lasted over one-thousand years, then again what is time to beings that are near immortal. Unbeknown to the Spider Magnate, an entity even older then him who was known to his race as Poseidon wished for Spider Magnate’s sister to become the next ruler so when that didn’t happen Poseidon cast Ag-lan'tuss into another dimension where it rotted for 40,000 years and became a myth to mankind. Given time the greedy Spider Magnate decided why rule one rotting little empire when he could rule the whole multiverse so he forced his way back into the universe so he could take over.

Villain: Amber

Name:                   Amber (No surname)  Biological Age:     18 - 19  Real Age:              Not applicable  Hair Colour:          Blonde  Eye Colour:           Blue  Information / Background:   Amber has no last name and no real history, she is what could best be described as a clone of Ebony, had Ebony been born a female. While Amber has all the base abilities of Ebony and then some caused by her interaction with the Spider Magnate, she lacks all of the addition abilities that Ebony has, she also lacks any of Ebony’s memories. Because Amber was a blank slate so to speak, who had the intellect of a very smart female of her age but no personal memories she quickly became resentful of Ebony and her life, which made it easy for the Spider Magnate to manipulate her into believing she was an evil clone of Ebony made purely to cause suffering an pain. The Spider Magnate also managed to convince Amber that the only way she can ever have a normal life is to destroy Emma and Ebony then take what was stolen from her.
